I recently purchased a fixer upper and I would like to insulate it better before spending the money on adding a heating system. I believe I would like a forced air propane system installed in the attic. The house is 1750 sq/ft and it sits on a concrete slab with concrete block walls for all interior and exterior walls. The outside of the house is stone.

Mike and Jason were great. Even after 3 renovations our home was still difficult to heat and cool. We installed new windows, a new kitchen and even a new roof. All this time we were living in a house that was leaky like "Swiss cheese" is what Jason said. During the inspection Jason and Mike showed us all the area's that were actually the cause of the problem. The installation team was courteous and knowledgeable. After the two day project was complete they cleaned up like they were never there. I highly recommend Dr. Energy Saver of NEPA. They are more than just an insulation company!

The beautiful, 100-year-old home in Pen Argyl was originally built without insulation. Over the year the current owner had made many upgrades to the home but the majority of the structure was still without insulation. We were able to remove the siding from the home and, by a process known as "Dense Packing" fill the walls with TruSoft Cellulose insulation to seal and insulate the walls after so many years without insulation. Imagine the money that was lost over the year through the UN-insulated walls, trying to heat and cool the old home. After the very first day, the owner noticed the house was quieter. He couldn't hear the traffic on the street in front of his home as much, by the second day they were turning the thermostat DOWN. Imagine, in December, turning the thermostat down because your home is finally too warm! We plugged the holes we made, re-installed the vinyl siding, and the house looked just like it did before we got there. The big changes were under the surface. Warmer, quieter, and far more energy-efficient. This project will pay for itself in just a few years!

Sump Pump Installation- Pen Argyl, Pa

This customer contacted us because the basement in their home was getting wet every time it rained. They had an old sump pump and even some interior drains that were not working anymore. In fact, the drains were packed full of sediment and debris from over 50 years of use and abuse. The homeowner knew they wanted to keep the basement dry ALL the time so there a properly sized sump and battery back-up was the way to go. We also knew we had to replace the existing drains with a new drain pipes that would not clog. After a week of jack-hammering, digging and plumbing new pipe the basement is now nice and dry. We installed our SuperSump with Zoeller 1/2 hp pump and brand new 4" flexible interior drain pipe with sediment barrier to keep the pipe clear for the life of the home. We also installed our patented UltraSump IV battery backup system with an auxiliary pump to keep the basement dry even when the power goes out!
